Why I Stepped Away from Coaching and Doula Work
In the past, I offered coaching programs and doula services with the intention of supporting women through different stages of life. However, I found myself feeling overwhelmed by the demands of running a business, working a full-time job, and being a mother. The constant juggle led to burnout, and I realized that the "hustle" mentality I was working within didn’t align with the message I wanted to share. I began to see that true wellness isn’t about working harder or fitting into a mold. It’s about slowing down, embracing non-diet approaches to health, and rejecting a culture that forces us to measure our worth by our ability to perform or conform. I wanted to offer a space where women can explore their well-being free from the pressure to always do more, look a certain way, or adhere to rigid rules.

My New Approach
Through this shift, I discovered that I could still support others—but in a way that feels more in line with my values: balance, self-compassion, and authenticity. This blog is my platform for sharing that journey. Here, I offer insights on how to cultivate a life of mindful wellness, creative expression, and genuine fulfillment while embracing non-diet approaches and fostering a positive body image.
What You Can Expect

As I move into 2025, my personal journey is centered on embracing slow living, prioritizing my health, nurturing my creativity, and finding balance between family, work, and self-care. I am also planning to spend time learning for fun and plan to take up photography and maybe a bit of gardening! I’m excited to share the lessons I learn along the way and to provide a supportive space for those looking to break free from the pressures of diet culture, unrealistic body standards and the pressure to always be "switched on".
I’m so glad you’re here, and I can’t wait to continue sharing my journey with you.
